Henry Ford

Henry Ford, born in 1863 was an American businessman. He was the founder of the Ford Motor Company, an automobile manufacturing company, still today one of the biggest industry in the United States and in the world. He died in 1947.

The Assembly Line

The assembly line is an assembly process used in modern industries and introduced by Henry Ford in the early 1900s. It was used to optimize the work of the workers and to reduce the time required for the assembly of a component.
It is formed by a conveyor belt that runs carrying with it the different objects to be assembled to obtain the finished product.

The Ford Model T, also known as Tin Lizzie, Flivver or simply Ford T, is a car produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1908 to 1927. It was the first car made with the assembly line. With the assembly line the Ford made more cars and they were cheaper. It inspired the Lizzie character in the cartoon “cars”.
